MINISTERING

TOGETHER

 A GUIDE FOR

DEVELOPING A MINISTRY BUDGET

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Stewardship was instituted by God. When God created Adam and Eve (Gen.1:26-28), He made them stewards over all creation. However, being responsible steward was left under the control of every human’s will. Therefore, every person is held accountable as to how he or she exercises his or her free will.

The purpose of this working manual is to offer practical help to the church that desires to “raise” faithful stewards rather than exerting its energy in money “raising” projects and programs

THE BIBLICAL WAY OF SUPPORTING MINISTRY

  A.     Tithes, Offerings, and proportionate giving (Ex.35:4-5; Mal.3:10; 2 Cor.9:6-7)

B.     Giving is to be joyfully done weekly (Lk.6:38; Acts 20:35; 1 Cor.16:1-2; 2 Cor.9:7)

MISSION MINISTRIES

The church makes a commitment to follow the commandment (Matt. 28:16-20; Acts 1:8) of the Lord in obedient and become deeply involved in doing and supporting missions through the stewardship of giving. Our mission support is seen in the following areas:
