Subject: Pastor’s Anniversary
Recapitulation.Why
should the church express appreciation to the pastor-teacher?
Because of his laboring ministry, or working to the point of exhaustion, we
appreciate him because of his overseeing ministry, that is, standing before the flock to lead them in the way
of righteousness.
And
finally, we appreciate him because of his admonishing
ministry, instructing in the truths of God’s Word.
I believe those are the three biblical reasons
for showing appreciation to the Pastor of this flock!
Appeal:
Let me encourage you “to obey them that have rule
over your…”“and submit yourselves…” why? Here is the:
Application.“…for
they (the leaders) watch for your souls, as they must give an account, that, (in order that) they may do
it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.”
